With the many community requests for volunteer assistance, Junior League of Toledo formed Done In A Day (DIAD). Since 1998, DIAD has been extending the Junior League’s hands-on efforts to agencies throughout the community. In a given year, the Junior League of Toledo typically partners with between 20 – 25 agencies, providing over 500 volunteer service hours. Many of our partners are non-profit agencies that would not be able to get their goals accomplished if it weren’t for the work of the JLT. Please click here to view remaining text. The Junior League of Toledo, Inc. is a volunteer organization of women dedicated to building a better community. Projects are supported by our fundraisers, The Junior League of Toledo is part of the Association of Junior Leagues International which is made up of close to 200,000 women in nearly 300 Junior League chapters located in the United States, Mexico, England and Canada.more> |

A Lasting Positive Impact on the CommunitySince 1933, the Junior League of Toledo has been training women by initiating such projects as the Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Ohio, YWCA Battered Women’s Shelter, Shots-4-Tots, CASA and the Docent Program at the Toledo Museum of Art. Throughout our seventy year history in Toledo, JLT has played a role in creating over one hundred successful projects that have had lasting impact in our community.
As a women's volunteer training organization, we have long provided this region with women who strive to be leaders in addressing our community's unmet needs. Today, JLT continues to search for strong projects that have an impact on our community. more>
